Medical and psychological counselling
The idea of having online information and medical and psychological counselling comes from our willingness to offer to students of our residences a service that can satisfy any medical requirements he/she may have. The service consists of:
- consulting our team of specialists;
- having information on any requested medical sphere;
- learning, in an anonymous and authorized way, of problems introduced by others.
Other than highlighting the importance of the conditions of use, that constitute the fundamental rules for approaching and using the service, it is necessary to underline that medical, dental and psychological counselling is only informative and in no way replaces medical examinations or psychotherapy.
The specialist can give advice on getting the correct information or on the correct direction to be followed, on knowledge of, and prevention of, a particular illness, and he can clarify general disease symptoms.
As for psychological counselling, the specialist will give all the help needed to prevent any mental, family or social unease. The service offered by the psychologists is linked to that reported in: “Codici di condotta e Deontologico dell’Ordine degli Psicologi del Lazio”.

- It is subdivided in general Medicine, Psychology and Dentistry, from where it is possible to access specific topics, such as:
- First Aid and nutrition guidance;
- Clinical psychology, scholastic psychology and guidance counselling;
- Dental hygiene and the Temporo Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders;
- COUNSELLING area
- The counselling area is divided in:
- Submit question area;
- Submitted question area;
- Answers area;
In this area questions can be submitted to doctors and psychologists through a “question delivery system”: the student sends messages/questions choosing doctors or psychologist using a pull down menu where he can then also choose whether his request could be published, so that it is will be visible among published questions, or not. A history log of his own messages is also available for each user, with his questions and the answers he has received.
- CATEGORIES area
- It is subdivided into specialist medical categories, where all questions and relative answers, authorized by the owner, are inserted and visible only to registered users. For each area it is up to the doctor to insert all the messages concerning it.
